Auditions for ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’. The Mothers of Brisbane are spearheading the fundraising for the renovation of the Brisbane Skatepark, which includes adding a water fountain and its connection to the water main, landscaping, more aesthetic fencing, seating, and additional lighting for safety. To raise the needed funds, engraved bricks are also being sold at $100 each by Aug. 1. The bricks will be showcased at the skatepark within the sidewalk just outside the park’s entrance. Construction is scheduled to start in the fall.
